Welcome to the website for Jorg e and 171 Hair Studio, a fantastic hair salon located in beautiful Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Jorge Esquivel learned the craft of hair design in New York City, moved to Chapel Hill in the 1980's and has been happily working on Franklin Street ever since. He loves the atmosphere of a small town and the intellect of a university community. He opened his own salon, 171 Hair Studio on East Franklin Street, 3 doors from the downtown post office, in 2005 and it feels like home.
